While reading Intro to Part 4 of our textbook, Multiple things became interesting. While reading "The Emergence of Humankind" I found the concept of operating on a timescale different that the universal timeline that most Darwinist operate. It was fascinating to read about the different species Homosapiens that emerged from southern and Eastern Africa. I also found it interesting to read about the evolution of simple tools that lead to the revolution of farming and herding. I always wondered what the first humans ate. It was captivating to read about their different diets that depended on the type of soil, weather, and domestication of animals. The more I read about the evolution of our civilizations, the more I realize how cool the Mayans, Aztecs, and Toltecs were. They were way ahead of their times with their sophisticated tools and complex societies.
